SUMMARY:Curatorial project by Eva Fomitskih "Attic"
DESCRIPTION:The project reveals the topic of psychological conditions\, which reflects in different emotional and physical reactions: dreams\, sublimation\, movements\, etc.\, and also the way to express those reactions through art.\nThe human mind – is a complicated mechanism\, some forms of emotional reactions can exist regardless of a person\, so they appear unconventionally.\nName of the project – “Attic” is an analogy of a place\, where people hide their junk. Just like inner conflicts\, experienced by people who are hidden on shelves of a mind. Eventually\, they become a reason for unpleasant stuff.\nArt becomes a way to regulate inner activity. As the process of painting or sculpting are types of motor activity\, the emotional state can be expressed by them unconventionally. That is why an author can reveal the inner conflict\, sufferings\, and topics which disturb them even not knowing that.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.\n.
