DESCRIPTION:The project consists of more than 100 works created in various techniques\, including sketches from life\, watercolors\, and levkas… \nIrina Ozarinska paints dogs. And there is nothing surprising about that. The artist simply loves dogs. In this passion\, she is sincere and open. By poeticizing pets\, Irina seeks to affirm an understanding attitude toward those who live beside us\, who feel the warmth of our hands and the curiosity of our hearts. The skilled eye of the artist subtly captures the very essence of an animal’s nature\, exaggerating it to the point of human-like reflection. Her dogs look at us with human eyes\, possess human characters\, their own stories\, and their own ways of carrying themselves. The artist’s refined graphic sensibility allows her\, through line\, tone\, stroke\, and shape\, to convey not only the silhouette of the subject\, but also the metaphor whose visual interpretation gave the entire series its name — “DogArt”. \nMunicipal Gallery curator — Oles Tomakh
