DESCRIPTION:“Drawings from a sketch-book” “The World of the sketch-book” \n“Sketch-book space” \n“Sketch-book format” \nThese tentative titles for my new exhibition were subsequently replaced by the one word “Origins.” \n  \nAbout two years ago\, I began to examine more closely my notes\, sketches\, lines of poems of my own and other people’s making\, old photographs. \n  \nAll this was stored in countless notebooks or simply lay in piles on shelves in the workshop. There were tiny sketches from which later came out (or didn’t) my paintings. \n  \nThere were schedules for a day\, for a month\, for life\, “minimum” and “maximum” programs. \n  \nThe paper was spent economically. I believed that a white canvas or a sheet of paper should not be soiled just like that. \n  \nYou need to learn\, you need to have the right\, you need to know what you want to say. \nHere it is\, what wealth! .. I thought\, looking at the multi-colored tinsel that had accumulated over the years. \n  \nI wanted to somehow systematize it\, share it\, dream … \n  \nWhat if it is important not only for me! \n  \nGradually\, I began to paste\, draw and write all this into sheets of coated cardboard\, a present from my sister Vita\, who to this day believes that I am doing something important\, for which a huge thanks to her. \n  \nI got carried away\, began to look for new meanings\, putting together pictures of different years. An impressive folder was formed a year later. \n  \n“If only  you knew from what rubbish poetry grows and defies barriers…” \nThe great Anna Akhmatova described this process for all subsequent times. \nAlso in these halls of the Municipal Gallery complete new paintings will be presented … \nBackground and Summary. \n  \nI want to tell the audience that there is no “Suddenly”! \n  \nThere is no wave of a magic wand. \nThere is a way… Each artist has his or her own. \nThere is a miracle too\, but it is well prepared. \n  \nThis is what the exhibition is about.\n \n\n		\n		\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\n
