DESCRIPTION:ARTBasement presents “the Findings” by Marharyta Zhurunova and Bohdan Lokatyr. The project was chosen at the Nathan Altman competition in contemporary visual art (Vinnytsia\, 2018). \nArtists are interested in the intersection of concepts: natural and artificial\, trash and treasure\, art and not art; where one ends and the other begins\, and should they contradict each other? \nThe project presents some meditative reflections on the aesthetics of the unnoticed\, the everyday\, the thrown away. It is a product of a contemplative way of interacting with the outside world\, with details\, nuances\, little things\, putting them on a pedestal.
