DESCRIPTION:At the opening of the project\, Serhii Zhadan will read excerpts from the collection “The Life of Maria”. \nA poet acts when he writes\, a designer — when he draws\, so the poster project “Diia/Loh” is a designer’s action in response. The posters in this series are anti-posters: they contain no calls to action and cannot be grasped at a glance. They need to be looked at and read like poems. This is by no means an attempt to illustrate the texts; these are parallel visual rhymes intertwined with words. \nAnd just as images and meanings emerge between words and signs in poetry\, in graphic art they arise between black and white\, between a point and a line. It is a dialogue between text and image\, between the artist and the poet\, and between the viewer and what they are looking at.
