DESCRIPTION:A new season at the MG ART Basement.\nThe first exhibition\, project\, a new series of watercolor works “Queues” by Odesa author and artist Irina Ozarinskaya Ozi.\nAccustomed to surprising\, this time Irina also looks at a social phenomenon through the eyes of an experimental artist\, reviving the old Soviet/post-Soviet concept in the eyes of the contemporary viewer. Working in series\, the author strives in each one to give a generalized image of the phenomenon\, transformed into a sign for better memorization by the viewer. The soft watercolor manner in which each work in the series is executed captures semi-volumetric human figures in gradient tonal patches.\nWhat is emphasized is not so much the idea of order in a queue\, but the idea of standing together and the reasons for it. In the works\, the silence of Zen is refracted in the silence of the white sheet as a symbol of frozen time.
