DESCRIPTION:The exhibition presents works made of wood. It is a traditional material for sculpture. It attracts with its wealth of possibilities and variability in processing. These include traditional carving\, a textured cut\, or a chip. It can be carved\, or its volume can be increased; it can be perforated\, or its parts can be joined. It is convenient and always available. It can be painted. And color in sculpture is something that has always interested me. After all\, in the surrounding world\, color and form are inseparably connected. Accordingly\, in sculpture they complement each other. It is precisely not a painted\, but a polychrome sculpture that creates the effect of transforming form into a kind of sculptural picture. Archipenko introduced such a concept — sculpto-painting. \nHuman perception is based on memory. The reconstruction of elusive memories forms the basis of a plastic motif\, which in turn is reduced to a subject. Spatial sensations interact with the movement of air around the sculpture. There is a certain balance between simple construction\, formal play with the material\, and the narrative component of the composition.
