DESCRIPTION:On October 15th\, at 18:00\, Kharkiv Municipal Gallery will host a presentation of the book “Parkomuna. Place. Community. Phenomenon”\, the first publication of the PinchukArtCentre Research Platform. \nThe book is dedicated to the well-known Kyiv squat “Parkomuna”. The book includes articles that depict the squat history\, analyze exhibition activities of its participants\, and explore the significance of Parkomuna as a phenomenon in general. The book “Parkomuna. Place. Community. Phenomenon” was created on the basis of research that preceded the same-name exhibition in October 2016. \nThe presentation will be attended by: \nKateryna Yakovlenko\, journalist and researcher at PinchukArtCentre\, author of texts in the book; Halyna Hleba\, art critic\, researcher at PinchukArtCentre.
