DESCRIPTION:from August 16 to 30 \nAfter a short break\, MG returns to its exhibition activities\, and for City Day all connoisseurs of beauty can look forward to the exhibition of graphic works “Captivating Fantasies.” \n… Oleksandr Mykhailovych Zholud is one of the most unexpected Kharkiv painters and graphic artists\, whose development as an artist took place in the late 1970s and early 1980s\, and whose flourishing came in the early 1990s and 2000s. Having established himself as a master of pictorial and graphic paraphrases of classical art\, especially the art of the 17th century\, with its emphasis on a witty concept (concetto)\, the idea of artistic universalism\, and its tendency toward “crossing boundaries\,” O. Zholud managed to transform his artistic and design experience predominantly within one\, albeit entirely traditional\, field\, painting and graphics\, subordinating it to the task of creating a new form of artistic synthesis. He has his own distinctive path\, his own aesthetic preferences and artistic tastes\, his own school.
