DESCRIPTION:with the participation of Mikhail Zhukov / levkas\nIf you think about it\, it is remarkable how important a role the mirror plays in human life. A child begins to form an image of themselves when they start recognizing themselves in the mirror.\nThe metaphor of the “Mirror” is particularly fitting for a retrospective exhibition by any artist. Looking into his own looking-glass world\, the artist teaches us to pay attention to the reflections of life as well. The author titled his exhibition “The Mirror of Life”\, combining subtle irony with the idea of looking at his own work from the outside.\nThis view is subjective yet candid\, truthful and personal. It does not conceal the “stages” of the path already traveled\, but reveals future prospects. The vitality of the artist’s “art” gives the exhibited works that degree of precision which has always formed the foundation of all genuine art.\nSuch is the art of Alexander Kovalev.
