Opening on February 8th (Tuesday) at 6:00 PM.

Project “Cycle” is the artist’s contemplation on the infinity of birth and death, creation and destruction, beginnings and endings. The subjugation to forces beyond human control remains an inevitability of our existence, but the inner need for humans to seek a global meaning in life becomes a senseless idea for the author.

The artistic act becomes a way to comprehend our being: “this time, it is the burning of the object—aesthetic action, the sole purpose of which is to show that life is the moment between the creation of something and its destruction, which happens in the same moment,” says the author. 

The exhibition is constructed cyclically, where the viewer, transitioning from one room to another, can observe three different variations of the same object.

Project author: Anton Malinovsky. The artist is originally from Mykolaiv, works and lives in Kharkiv, and is a member of the MYPH association.
