“Kharkiv Courtyards — Forever!” is, in a sense, a retrospective exhibition. From 2010 to 2012, the H. Khotkevych Ethnographic Museum “Slobozhanshchyna Treasures” of NTU “KhPI” held four citywide local history competitions entitled “Kharkiv Courtyards” among students, with more than 300 representatives of various higher education institutions taking part. Professional artists and photographers also participated in exhibitions based on the results of the competitions, which were held at the Kharkiv Art Museum, the P. F. Lunov Parkhomivka Art Museum, and other cultural and educational institutions. At the exhibition in the Municipal Gallery, alongside works by young artists, paintings and photographs by renowned masters are also presented: Volodymyr Ohloblin, Sviatoslav Vovchuk, Roman Ahasian, Hennadii Kavtaradze, Oleksandr Shylo, Oleksandr Lysenko, Alla and Halyna Khmil, Lesia Kamenna, and several others.

As part of the exhibition, the “Festival of Living Memory” will take place, featuring:

March 23 at 17:00 — Memorial Evening for poet and bard Lev Boldov.
March 25 at 17:00 — Cultural Studies Discussion.
March 26 at 18:00 — Poetic Dialogue: Iryna Lehonkova and Mykhailo Krasykov.
March 27 at 18:00 — Kharkiv Courtyards: From the Past to the Future. Architectural Ideas and Proposals.
