Red&Black, a new project by Kharkiv easel painter Viktor Pohorelov, is part of an interconnected concept, a cycle of exhibitions titled “Puzzles”, “Relief”, and “Allusions”. It is the artist’s reflection on the problems of the individual and society, and on the theme of realizing an inner aspiration toward liberation.
The artistic statement contains no direct analogies or reflections of a cultural, social, or political nature.
