Yellow Flower for Monsieur Burillon

On Saturday, the Municipal Gallery will host a presentation of the short film “Yellow Flower for Monsieur Burillon” by Ukrainian director Larysa Artiugina. The film’s screenwriter, Andrii Zlanich, won a competition held as part of the international Tandem program.
The film participated in the Odesa International Film Festival, the Molodist Festival in Kyiv, and the Wiz-Art Festival in Lviv.

A French anti-globalist writer arrives in Kyiv to present his book. An unexpected surprise awaits him at Boryspil Airport. Instead of a young and attractive interpreter, the writer is met by her father – a police officer with less than refined manners. The lack of a common language leads to comic situations and conflicts between the two men. However, they unexpectedly find some common ground.
