The artist presents two series of works.
The term “divisi”*, borrowed from musical scores, describes the nature of the exhibition as accurately as possible. Two authors — Oksana Kurchanova and her seven-year-old daughter Sofia; two childhoods separated by time — the 1980s–90s of the 20th century versus childhood in the 21st century; two visions — the unobscured gaze of an adult versus the gaze of a visually impaired child. “DIVISI VISION” is a visual melody of childhood, an artistic dialogue between mother and daughter, depicting real characters and situations, conflicting conditions of existence, and the beauty of the surrounding world.
