Literary Evenings: Tatiana Voltskaya, Vadim Zhuk

Tatiana Voltskaya is a poet, essayist, and author of nine poetry collections – «Strela» (St. Petersburg, 1994), «Ten» (St. Petersburg, 1998), «Tsikada» (St. Petersburg, 2002), «Cicada» (London, Bloodaxe, 2006), «Trostdroppar» (Stockholm, 2009), «Tatiana’s Letter» («Helikon Plus», 2011), «From the Varangians to the Greeks» («Helikon Plus», 2012), «The Corner of Nevsky and Khreshchatyk» (Kyiv, «Veselka», 2015), Selected Works (St. Petersburg, «Helikon Plus», 2015).
In the 1990s, she worked as a critic and publicist and, together with Vladimir Allo and Samuil Lurie, was co-editor of the St. Petersburg literary magazine «Postscriptum».
Her poems have been translated into Swedish, Dutch, Finnish, Italian, and English.
She is a recipient of the Pushkin Scholarship (Germany) and the «Zvezda» magazine award (St. Petersburg).
Vadim Zhuk is a poet, playwright, and actor. Founder and artistic director of the «Fourth Wall» theater studio. Author of librettos for a number of musical productions created with composers A. Zhurbin, S. Nikitin, V. Dashkevich, and M. Dunaevsky. Author of several collections of poetry and drama. Recipient of the «Poterpevshie», «Strannik», and «Shag» awards, as well as the «Best Screenplay» award at the Russian Animation Festival in Suzdal. He has appeared in a number of feature films and television films.
