Boris Redko. Photographics.

Boris Redko was born in 1959 in Kharkiv, where he currently lives and works. He graduated from the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute, worked as a photographer at the Institute of Emergency Surgery, as a photographer at Prombud Research and Design Institute, and as a lighting technician at the Theatre for Young Audiences and the T. H. Shevchenko Theatre. He became interested in photography, graphics, and painting in the 1980s and combines these three styles in his work. Boris’s first exhibition of graphics and painting, organized by Boris Mikhailov and Sergey Bratkov, took place in the early 1990s at the “Updown” Gallery. In 1987-8, he participated in the F-87 and F-88 photo exhibitions at the Kharkiv Palace of Students. Many of Boris’s works are held in private collections around the world.
