In our memories of the year 2000, we cannot overlook the gallery’s international endeavors. One such endeavor was our participation in the EXPO 2000 World Exhibition in Hannover, Germany! Expo is an international exhibition symbolizing industrialization and serving as a platform to showcase technological advancements. Expo 2000, held under the theme “Humans, Nature, Technology,” featured 190 nations and international organizations across 51 pavilions and exhibition halls. The Municipal Gallery represented the cultural sector of Ukraine at Expo 2000 with two projects. Our neighbors on the European Boulevard included pavilions from the United States, France, the Netherlands, and other countries. The gallery brought to the exhibition works by young artists who participated in the “World Without Dark Colors” children’s art festival, while simultaneously showcasing the internationally renowned “4th Block-2000” project, featuring artists from 35 countries.
