We are closing the chapter on 2018 with the NonStopMedia IX Youth Art Festival!
The primary goal of NonStopMedia IX was to foster communication between artists and curators. Therefore, in addition to the open program accessible to everyone, there was a parallel closed program for NonStopMedia laureates.
Over two weeks, ten different venues across the city hosted exhibitions, concerts, lectures, workshops, tours, and more. A total of ten best projects, selected by the jury (Tetyana Tumasyan, Serhiy Bratkov, and Roman Minin), were presented at the festival.
The main venue for the 2018 festival was the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute Student Palace – both a historic and recently reopened space. Most of the events also took place at the Municipal Gallery, for example, the “Controversy” special project by Bella Logachova and Oleksandr Prysiazhnenko was presented in the ARTbasement of the gallery, while the main hall hosted the opening of Hamlet Zin’kovskyi’s exhibition “The Seventh Rule.”
