Kharkiv Municipal Gallery presents a series of artistic improvisations on the theme of the nude by Kharkiv artist Oleksandr Mykolaiovych Lysenko.

Oleksandr Mykolaiovych was born in 1952 in the village of Svarkove, Hlukhiv district, Sumy region. Graduate of the Kharkiv Art and Industrial Institute (1976 – 1981), Faculty of Design.

He participated in many international design exhibitions. Awarded the silver medal of the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy of the USSR.

Member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine since 1987, member of the “Burime” creative association.

In 2002, he founded an art gallery of contemporary art of Slobozhanshchyna in his native village of Svarkove, Hlukhiv district.

In 2000 at the National Museum of Fine Arts and in 2008 in Kharkiv, his solo exhibitions took place, which became a notable phenomenon in the artistic life of the city.

His works are held in private collections and museums in Ukraine, Russia, the USA, France, and Canada.

He has participated in international, national, and regional exhibitions since 1980. Awarded the silver medal of the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy of the USSR in 1989. Laureate of the Skovoroda Municipal Creative Award in 2003. Honored Artist of Ukraine. Awarded the Honorary Distinction of the Kharkiv Regional Council “Slobozhanska Slava”.
