Yuriy’s new series of abstract works is a kind of visualization of scents. Quite often, a blind person imagines colors through taste and aroma (sharp — black, fresh — green, cloying — pink, …). In this project, the artist leads us through painting, stimulating our visual sense of smell.
Yuriy’s paintings tell us about things that cannot always be touched, but can be felt and imagined, much like wine tasting, when, in anticipation, we turn to our sense of smell, through which we become acquainted with the offered bouquet of flavors and aromas.
